I don't really like it. I think the keyboard is a bit bloated. The LCD screen is useless - why would you look at it while playing games? In the time it takes you to look at it you may be killed in game.

Just a personal thing, I don't like how it's orange now, I liked it when it was blue.

Hey there Taiko!
Just wanted to let you know that I actually own the combination of the Logitech G15 Keyboard (Version 2, which is the smaller orange version of the keyboard) and the Logitech G9 Laser Mouse.
So, if you have any questions about them, and how they perform, feel free to ask me.

By the way, I am VERY BAD at checking forum posts. So if you leave me a private message on here, and I don't respond... Then I have forgotten that I posted anything...
If that does happen, feel free to add me on Xfire, or Steam.
Usernames:
Xfire: iwearhuggies
Steam: iwearhuggies1

And don't mind the childish nature of the names... I've had the accounts for... quite a while now. Haha.

Oh, and if you have a mic, I have a 15 slot Ventrilo Server.
IP: V12.DARKSTARLLC.COM
Port: 4554

Haha, You are welcome on any time, along with any friends you would like.
The server is generally empty anymore, I'm on a lot though.

So, that's it. Have a good one.

Thanks for the info Justin. I plan on getting a new keyboard once I get my new computer... still trying to decide if I'm going to build a PC or just buy one.

I've heard the G9 laser mouse button positions are a little hard to get used to. Have you had any probs with it?

Re:g15 Keyboard 11 Months ago
Well, I highly recommend buying all of the computer parts separately and then building the computer yourself. My cousin just built himself an amazing gaming rig. May not be top of the line, but get's the job done. Especially that monster of a graphics card... Man what I would do for a GTX 260. Another thing is that doing it this way saves tons of money. His computer which is still pretty new, cost him around $900... That includes his 3GB of DDR3 RAM, The GTX 260, the quad core processor (i7 if I remember correctly), Some massive mother board that can handle two or maybe even three graphics cards that are PCI-E 2.0 X16, and the power supply, hard drives, etc, etc. Mind you he did lots and lots of homework on this.

Anyways on to the question about the G9. Well I have been using the G9 for well over 2.5 years now. and I've loved every second. Now when you say that the button positioning is hard to get used to, I would have to say I agree for the most part. I only say this because the mouse has a very strange shape compared to a stock mouse that comes with a premade PC. Due to this the mouse feels weird the first oh, week or so of use. Other than that, the only buttons I have trouble using are the Mouse4 and Mouse5 buttons (The buttons on the left side). But that is only because I forget about them. The only other problems I've had are that the interchangeable mouse grip things wear down pretty easily, especially the satin one.

Have a good one,
-Justin
