Anyone hear about Electronic Gaming Magazine's "rumor section" stating that Halo's next release will be an MMO?

"Microsoft may start a war--word is they're making a massively multiplayer online first-person shooter for 360. Hmm, wonder what Bungie is up to?"

It only makes sense. If Bungie release Mastercheif in a bundle of 10 deathmatch maps again I'm not gonna buy Halo 4. But a Halo Universe MMO? I'd be all over it.

Microsoft denies claims to a Halo MMO.
But Bungie is very secretive on all fronts and any news on a new Halo game.

It well be interesting if this pulls threw. If a Halo MMO is created I think we all would see a game that well rival WOW for once.

It may be good , but a successful game doesn't always turn into a good MMO but if they confirm it I'll probably be looking for the release

A Halo MMO would no doubt be interesting...Yet, it would have some troubles if its on a console..Sounds promising though.

Hmm.. 2 things though...
1) If it's true, doesn't that mean they're hypocrite, seeing as how they ended their contract with Microsoft so that they wouldn't be making Halo games for the rest of eternity... At least that's what -I- heard.
2) I'm kind of annoyed that they keep making all these things 360 exclusive. I'm really not that excited about it really, but still. Halo Wars, the RTS? Only for a console. Seems kind of dumb to me.

A console-exclusive MMO likely wouldn't survive. Can you imagine all blinking red lights from MMO lovers playing this upwards of 10 hours at a time?
