Just curious, where did you hear that rumor anyway? I remember before Starcraft 2 came out there were a grip of "Starcraft Releasing MMO" articles, than while I was in Korea I turned on the TV and saw it was an RTS.

I think if they would pursue an MMO it would have to be an MMOFPS because an MMORPG would take away too much from their precious WoW.

The more I think of it though, starcraft is such a moneymaker as an RTS... so why would they change their methods? If it aint broke, don't fix it right? Maybe an MMOFPS/RTS hybrid, kinda like what Savage 2 is trying but can't pull off.

Believe it or not there is an underground movement here in Asia pushing for more of the first person shooter style games. Like I said earlier there are a billion third person shooter games, but the market is definently lacking the FPS twitch.

Just step up to any of the 9 (yep count them 9) time crisis 4 games they have in a row at Suwon and show some skill and you will quickly have a korean fan crowd gathering round.

Starcraft 2 is a big item over here (Starcraft 1 has legendary status,,,if blizzard screws this one up it will mean big trouble in the Korean market) and with the interest in gun games and FPS going up it isnt suprising that someone bige would try to capitalize.

Farcry 2 I guess is a better engine then Crysis.

I heard that rumor also !! and it was going like " world of starcraft " , I hope they confirm it one day cuz once it's out it would be astonishing!
