Last I knew it was still in Beta. Their "almost" done. Same stuff I've been hearing since November of 2006.

The game is basically based on PlanetSide's model. Its close to a clone but has a lot of different mechanics in it. I'm still not sure if its going to end up being good or not tbh.

Umm guys, who determines that this game is done? this gameis less then alpha, now dont get me wrong they have been working on this game for almost 21 months now (yes it has been stated by several moderators that this game has been in development for almost 2 years.)

this game is a bs, you would be better off going to www.garagegames.com, and look at the TGEA engine which this game is based on (modified significantly my butt). And try out the demos, then try LC, oh, which btw you have to pay 20 bucks for? 20 bucks for what? This game isnt even at beta and your asking for preorders.

When you go to the site check out the last 9 months of bs that have been called on LC, oh wait, most of it was deleted and users banned for calling them. Red Planet itself is under another persons name ( a dentist) We have seenthe business application. And frankly we have been blowing the whistle on these guys. Stop charging folks for a beta. Have a closed beta, release some actual screenshots and not some modified 3drt models. And stop lying to you costumer base. DX10 guys? For those that know , thats a Vista only code. If you are going to get DX 10 code to run on TGEA for one, you got some nifty coders. If you can do it, do it, but 9 months of bs from this oh we will release, oh we will release, sorry were upgrading becuase Garage games released a update, it willtake 2 weeks to get that out to you.. read the site folks.. people are tired of this games bs. Make a FPS regardless of PLanetside or whatever, make a Halo one idont care. But Stop trying to creat hype on stuff you cant back up. And Show some trailers, update your site, and stop banning your paying audience for calling you on your screwups.

Yikes Ed0001, sounds like somebody really has it in for LC! I would join you on your soapbox but I'm really hoping they will pull through with something worthy. I think most people wouldn't be as pissed if LC would have said they were independently owned with a low budget from the get-go rather than leading the impression they have a top of the line gaming product.

I agree with you, I have no issue with the fact they are trying to make a FPS, thats awesome, its when they try to pull the wool over folks eyes. So far we have 0 proof that there is more then 3 folks working for them, ok 4 if you count Soulrift. Unreal, SoS, Soulrift and Roland Orr. Show me this Red planet office. Not even pictures of a office, or a staff photo. and the hidden photos that were leftin version .70 ithink it was. what are those supposed to be. Yes, i have been following LC, i have a nice collection of posts from thier own website. of folks that have been banned and such for calling thier bluff. If its one thing i hate, its a bunch of frauds. Now dont get me wrong at the rate their going they will have a game in a year or so. they finally got the encrpytion down and a server set up. btw all of which are a free resource on the garage games site. So to say that they have a fps with the amount of content. first off, the first sign of any kind of custom art i have seen are the uniforms that were recently posted. oh and those buildings.. if you can really take credit for those... Its not that i have a issue with LC, its i have a issue with a bunch of people trying to act like big shots when they cant take their own medicine. Oh and if you want to know what a real bunch of games look like that are under constuction. go to www.mydreamrpg.com and look at the game contest. those are games that you should be look for your next fps or game period.
