just an open question. the first step in my journey to learning c++ is choosing a compiler. for anyone with programming experience reading this... what compiler do you find the most comfortable and suited towards game development?

I dont know enough about C++ to suggest one compiler over another. I will ask around.

Speaking of software, just got a whole slew of Garage Games stuff.

Right now from what I've been reading is that most people use the one ofered by microsoft for free. I guess I can keep my final decision in my pocket until I'm finished reading my C++ for dummies book.
