It won't be an FPS, it's got more traditional MMO combat - think WoW and similar games. Granted, it will be a lot more tactical with cover and other things, but it will basically have combat similar to WoW.

We are currently in the production phase of a MMORPG, Stargate Worlds.
So yea no FPS in this one.
Witch is odd because you figure with all the SG series the dev team would realize that it mostly involved gun's and shooting.

yes all the stargate series when comes into mind you'll remember guns and whatever !!! I wonder why not making it a fps !!! any info on startrek yet ?

It's a MMORPG as well. My best guess is that it's going be like SWG.
