Latest Huxley rumor is a May/June release date. This is based off of their planned QA schedule and advertisement campaign launch times.

I'm confused. Is Huxley already launched in Asia? Or are they trying a simultaneous launch in North America?

I haven't seen much recent news from Webzen about Huxley, and from experience I can say that doesn't bode well for a closed beta starting in May/June.

This is what Jay Chung told us:

But if they're simultaneous, then what would be the significance of having American testers in the Korean beta? Americans would just play on the servers that are run out of California.

Oh... hahah. Yeah that little tid-bit is because I'm in Korea. I guess this intel really only applies to a small persentage of the community (me)

Oh. So you're asking if they'll have a Korean server running the English client for native English speakers living in the area? Connecting to the California servers from Korea wouldn't be game breaking. At least, not in my experience with other games.

Actually, the way they do closed beta testing in Korea I've noticed is they send out notices to gaming communities asking if they can dedicate a certain timeframe to play the game at one of their buildings.

I was thinking if they decided to add american beta testers to the korean beta testing I would get intel prior to the beta release in the states. I was thinking maybe they could use some true american insight on the game before they released the beta to america.

I think I was too hopeful.
