I'm not sure what was going through my head when I made this board. I think maybe it was just to check out its functionality, but I can always delete those posts. You're right, this board will just tempt users to get a higher post count. :-

The thread you were reffering to, for now we'll just delete them as they come. Once we migrate to the new boards I think the problem will be fixed.

*yawn* just woke up from a nap. was WoWing all night long ^_^. Strife, ill delete the spambot posts as they come, they only post once. i've delete 2 before. if you find any, please us the report moderator button.

I agree with removing the spam section. Not only is it pointless now that we know that the forums work, but it's just another way for users to raise their post count in ways they shouldn't. I'm sure we'll get people that will just post something like "noobs" over and over just to raise their post count. As fun as spam would be, I think we should let people do that elsewhere.

instead of removing the spam board, how about we make it a rant board? then you could rant about a game, a person (rl or on this forum, or in a game) that ticked you off, etc. flaming still wouldnt really be allowed, only like saying" that noob pissed me off so much cus he ----- tked me, the -----" not saying "hes such a ---- noob, he should get his head out of his ---- and grow some ---- and some brains." the 2nd quote would be deleted and a warning would be sent to the poster

Okay, I've changed the name of the "Front Desk" to the "Back Office", and the "Spam" section to "Rants".

While we're on the topic of board moderation. How do you guys feel about religious/political discussions?

I think religion is too personal, but political discussions can be tolerated.
