I was thinking of something a bit more simple for the global forum rules than its own HTML page.
I like both of your rules and it would be good if you guys could both find a way to combine them. After the rules are set, what I was thinking is that we pin the rules under the general discussion area. You'll notice that under each section where you have posted guidelines I have changed the ending to say "Standard board rules apply". This saying should link to the general board rules.
Let me know what you guys think.
Also, supertech, about the setup you were talking about. This site runs on the CMS Joomla. You don't have to worry about HTML and parsing with XML/XSL. If a new page needs to be made that can be updated by ourselves we simply log into the backend of this site and change it. The CMS does the rest.
There's alot of pros/cons about using this particular CMS, a big con being that limiting ourselves to the CMS limits the dynamics of the site, a big pro being that it is EXTERMELY organized and manageable.

Well, it must be a great setup, because everything looks awesome so far! I'm glad you like the rules. I'll talk to deathreape to combine them, then you can edit them however you want.

There are 10 types of people: those that understand binary, and those that don't.
