After reading the "what games have you played" thread I suddenly got a flashback of my NES days. Hands down for me, these are my top three:

1. River City Ransom
2. North vs. South
3. Final Fantasy

1.all Mario games
2.Final Fantasy 1-3
3.Zelda

I think I still got my NES some where in a box, I outta bust it out.

I thought they only had Final Fantasy 1 for the NES... I missed out if there was a 2 and 3.

they have 1-6 on NES but only release in Japan.

in actuality the USA versions are 2, 4, and 5. they kinda skipped around

Yikes I'm gonna have to find those games somewhere. I'm a huge FF fan. I remember the first version for NES where you started out young and chose which of the generic classes you could pick. After that I went straight to FF2 on the SNES (Mystic Adventures i think it was?) and than ff3, which had a large part in me being held back a grade in high school.

If I had to choose,

1: Mario games, all of them.

2: Bubble Bobble first game I got addicted to.

3: Duck Hunt, first fps I ever played.
