You're funny death.
I'm a very trusting individual you'll find. Right now you've been helping me with community management so I know that you have the ability to do the job. For the time being we'll hold off on the main position, but your in community management. When I make someone a community manager I make them the forum admin... meaning that they have been around long enough for me to let them make changes at there own accord, already knowing what is in my best interest as well as the community's. You're doing a great job with it so far and I'l throw you under my wing!
I think you're thinking along the lines of revenue. What I mean by creating avenues for the direction of the forum. I basically mean implementing new ideas that impact the forum. If you want to give me your credit card that's all on you
Also, about being tactful. As a PA rep you would have to be able to convey to the other party that if they provide you information that it comes as a benefit to them as well. Usually this is accomplished by refelecting on that specific company's game and general direction. For example, when I contact the project manager at Huxley I inquired about beta testing for foreigners in Korea in just a few sentences. I received a quick response. He's a busy man, being able to get as much information from a small queastion requires tactfullness and conveyed professionalism.
If I just wrote him in a sentence "hey are you guys beta testing yet?". He would cut/paste the usual response because he would think I was just some kid trying to play Huxley.
There's different methods of being a tactful person, it all depends on who you're writing and what information you're trying to get.
Also, the more personal you get the more information you receive. Calling someone as opposed to writing gives you different answers. Meeting in person is even better.
If I have any PA projects for you I'll throw some your way to see how you handle them.
