I love the jet pack concept of this game. All around the game is very RPG'ish but still a good game to play if you're bored. There's still an open beta. If you like free games check it out!

Ah, this was one of my favorite games when it was still known as Endless ages. I signed up for the Phylon Beta, but sadly I was only able to sign in once before the thing went spaztic on my computer. Since then I have not really seen much of any news on it lately..

Yes, public news is quite barren at the moment if I do say so myself. My guess is that it was criticized so much during the beta that they will stay tight-lipped until they make proper adjustments.
OR
They thought they could re-release Endless Ages with a different storyline and title and get away with subscription pay, than realized it wouldn't work and completely withdrew.
OR
They're broke. Who knows...
