Here's what I'm looking for after we get the functionality of the site setup:



When I say functionality, that means:

- Forums have been converted to Fireboard and all of our forum bugs are fixed
- The gamelist is operating correctly and is up to date with all MMOFPS games
- Members have more indepth profile (ability to add and archive video's etc...)
- whatever else comes along.


Whatcha guys think?

it looks good, but is like completely diffrent. why do we even have this template if you're aiming for that? and if im wrojnga bout the template, dont blame me, cus i think a template is the site design...am i right? i dunno, im clueless to this stuff

Usingthe CMS I have, templates are not as difficult to design as if you were using raw HTML. I'll show you our site showcase, keep in mind this is only in a 4 months period (except the first one, that took for friggin ever):


This site is what massivefps was originally supposed to look like. It was being built in raw html and than the partner I had who was building it dropped off the face of the planet. This design was made in mid 2005.




The following template is what our site was originally launched as in january. Note that the content is exactly the same as what it is now. That's because all I did was go into my backend (that's the actual term for it ;D) and press a button, viola, site template is changed!



This is our current design. I liked this one better than the last because the header was original and it was more easy on the eyes. Still, lots of blank space that needs to be filled up.





And of course what I would like for our site to look somewhat like (still gotta see the template that crose has to offer):




Notice the picture of Huxley on the main part, this is actually a scrolling slideshow. It would give us the ability to place about 8 or so articles on the main page. On the left I was thinking of making it our top 3 MMOFPS games.


So, which of the 4 do you like most?

I have to agree with you there, the fourth looks a lot more tidier, and slightly more polished than the other three. A greyscale and red colour scheme always looks mint with lots of curves. Actually, i haven't come across many sites with a template and colour scheme combination similar to this, so marks up for originality there. And there isn't so much 'white' space in the fourth as there is in the other three, so there is plenty going on for people to see. Would it be possible to see the fourth template with larger dimensions?

Supertech was getting our test site up, I'll get the template downloaded to his server once it's done and you can all see the actual size.
