Good peice of info. SOE will be a free-to-play game and will rely mostly on in-game ads and provide special additions to those who CHOOSE to subscribe. Good idea IMO. MMO's are the new wave and with so many games to choose from but only so many that we can afford it's quite obvious that the industry would all go in this direction eventually.

I like this Idea from SOE. I think they have leared that so many of there games have just bomb on release (ex:Vanguard).
Due to far superior MMORPG's (ex:WOW), that they are taking a chance on trying to revamp there sales. Then also trying to revolutions on how MMO's get people to subscribe.

It well be interesting to see how Agency does on launch.

The less people play the more expensive it is for the people (or marketers) left behind. I will always be willing to spend 10 bucks a month for a game worth playing (do the math each game costs 50-60 dollars and I usually buy 1 game a month, if a good MMO can keep my interest it would actually save me money).

We just need to realize that cash makes the world go round, and be willing to spend a couple of bucks on a game we really enjoy playing.
