Nice. I've seen spammers get out of hand before, we should get seomthing ot stop it bfore it gets bad Taik






Death- try to keep it clean, parents don't want kids going to forums with people talking about things like that

yeah, spambots are attacking the control monger forums too. heres my idea- put a verification code doesnt stop all spambots, but it always helps

Every new member needs to be accepted by the admin? That will probably prevent the whole thing, but it will also be a pain in the ass for the admin.

nah, he might let spambots in accidentally.


just a heads up- im deleteing any spambot posts i see on sight. please don't encourage spambots to come here by posting in the same thread as them. if absolutely neccasary, create another thread like this.

I'm going to install a couple spam control packages soon. Maybe that would get rid of the issue. We only had one, but that is usually followed by the rest of the pack.

Usually spambots have names like wdawsdwad, and have an odd webpage on their profile.
