i would advise doing this all on the test site, all o fth etopics have been doubled and the topics are in a hard-to-see gold. unless....this is the normal website, nto the test website, right? oh, and the message box is tiny.

Sorry for the surprise. Sadly, the forum change is here to stick forever. I know it seems like a mod nightmare with all of the double posts, but I figured while the site was reletively fresh this was an ideal time to migrate.

There is a problem with the current forum version and desired forum template right now, the guys over at fireboard re-wrote the entire CSS file for these forums so we have to stick with the plain blue for now.

I've got the template that we plan to use and have been fiddling around with it for a few hours. There will be ALOT of work for me to do, the build is completely different and getting the content to appear the way I want it to will take some time.

As for now, since the forums are switched to a more compatable release, I can get a skeleton draft of the gamelist made. This is one step closer to our site being fully functional and able to swap over to the ideal design template.

Once the test site gets up I'll start using that for compatability tests, but for now I really want to keep the momentum of the sites development going.

In about 2-4 days these forums will look much better.

Feel free to delete the double posts if you wish, there was somthing wrong with my script when I transfered database tables.

Well it's different, that's for sure. Seems a lot more complicated in a good way. Looking forward to seeing the updates over the next few days .

Oh i noticed that there is no longer a 'Report to moderator' function for each post, don't know whether that was intentional.

Also noticed that there doesn't seem to be a private messaging system.

At the top right click Forum Tools then Help on the drop-down menu.

Oh and also, i don't know if this is a bug but when you try to edit your own post, when it has already been edited, the time and date of the edit is carried into the bottom of the text editor. You can delete it but if you don't and you submit the post, two times and dates of the last edit are posted. I am not sure if it should be doing that. For example -

- fixed the edit problem, "post edited" line will no longer show.

- can't do anything about the report to moderator button. Only thing you can do is give people bad karma >.<

- I've installed a temporary PM system. It's ugly and takes up space but will serve for the time being before our site enters phase 2.

Don't forget guys, the site itself is still young, I have many Many more tweaks to give it. the forums will eventually look much better, and switching to them has actually raised the compatability of the site with other extensions ten-fold.

It'll change again sometime this week, along with the entire site design. I've been working on alot of things in the backend to prepare for a quick transition.

The PM system has changed again, you have to login and you will see your mail at the home page.
