The site has grown exponentially since we started in early 2007, subsequently it has become increasingly hard to maintain. To pull in more members we need better ratings, to get better ratings we need more content, and to get more content we need more help!
Note on the above, December and the following months have not been reflected. We've finally got the site setup to handle a more structured approach by providing volunteer help with tools that don't compromise the rest of the site. With that said, we're open to volunteers in the following areas:
Game Managers Pick a game that you feel you can manage and let the ball roll! Game Management is conducted in phases. At first you will be made an Entry Manager. Which means you will be provided the ability to edit the respective entry in the game list. You will also be placed as the Forum Moderator for that game's particular section in the forums. If you stick around, we'll make you the Game Manager for your game. You will than coordinate interviews/articles (possibly promo's) between our site editors and Game Developers or Community Managers. Editors/Writers We are looking for intelligent and articulate writers that will be able to cooperate with our Game Managers with putting together interviews and articles. We will provide a “@massivefps.com” email address and you will contact Game Developers and Community Managers on behalf of MassiveFPS. Grammatical errors in a request to become an Editor/Writer will be ignored!

Graphics/Site Development We need more talent than time in this department. If someone is graphically skilled and thinks there are any areas around the site that could be improved, help us out! If you are knowledgeable with the popular CMS Joomla, have PHP, HTML or CSS knowledge, than you could be an invaluable asset to the team.
Now you may be asking yourself what you actually get out of all of this? As I've mentioned, our site has been growing exponentially, and we target a small yet growing genre. Maybe you need a couple extra lines in your resume or you just want to stay on top of the genre. Things are calm right now, so this would be an ideal time to get your foot in the MMOFPS gaming industry before the tsunami comes. Because after it does… with us already being the #1 search result for MMOFPS information, you'll want to be riding the waves with us.
