Face of Mankind: Rebirth has been announced on the official website by Duplex Systems. Face of Mankind: Rebirth is a complete revamp for Face of Mankind which by the look of it aims too take out many elements of the game and simplfy it. The out come is a game that will closely resemble PlanetSide. This is a dangerous step for Duplex Systems, they might just be going the way Sony Online Entertainment went when they ignored the community and changed the game which resulted in Star Wars Galaxies loosing most of its player base.

I hope Duplex Systems are prepared for this and know what they are doing. I doubt the game will be the Face of Mankind we know, however it doesn’t mean the game will be dull, just more action oriented. Hopefully in the future after the success of Face of Mankind: Rebirth the original concept for Face of Mankind will arise from the flames again and give us all what we were originally promised.
