GLOBAL AGENDA is a fast-paced action MMO using Unreal® Engine 3 set in Earth's near future, a spy-fi world of advanced technology and player-driven conflict.

In the wake of severe global disaster, the political face of 22nd century earth has changed and player-created factions scheme against each other for power. Traditional full-scale wars a thing of the past, factions must rely on covert agencies, teams of elite special operatives able to seize and defend key facilities. The future of humanity is their battleground, where knowledge is power, technology is a race, and everyone has an agenda.

The players control the world of Global Agenda, forging alliances with their peers and executing lightning strikes against their enemies. They determine which factions to aid and which to oppose, while the only thing that stands in their way is other agencies.

  • Develop your agent - Create, extensively customize, and improve your agent character over the course of your career, complimenting your FPS skills with RPG-style progression and high-tech gear.
  • Advance your agency - Join a player-created agency, compete in technology races for advanced equipment, and capture critical locations to increase your influence in the world.
  • Compete in fast-paced PvP combat - Work with your allies to gather reconnaissance data, then raid or capture enemy-controlled facilities during objective-based missions. Equip yourself from a powerful array of weapons, armor, and strategic devices like triggered explosives, deployable turrets, stealth suits, holographic decoys, and remote control robots.
  • Experience a dynamic, player-driven world - Agency leaders navigate through a global conflict of other player-run groups, striving to reach their goals first. Territory, resources, technology, and influence are all valuable commodities, with agencies engaging in politics, intrigue, and outright deception to control them.

The word instance is a delusion
by J

I rated this game a 3/5, however it honestly deserves a zero on a single basis or idea. This game is put into the category of an MMO. I question if anyone on this website has actually played this game. I have spent a week or so playing it, from AVA to PVE, nothing in this game is 'MMO'. Lets be sure that we all understand what MMO stands for, massive multiplayer online. Global agenda does indeed have multiplayer online, but the problem comes in with the word massive. Their definition of massive is a single 'instance' or match much like what you'd find when joining a server in team fortress 2, counter strike, or even halo. In each instance you may have a team, a randomly grouped bunch of individuals, or a small group of 4. In each of these instances you have various objectives. I have never come across a game where I was on a team of more than 10 players. But at most, they claim you will find yourself on maps at 60 versus 60. Perhaps it is an unfair comparison of what I was taught or became custom to in the idea of an MMOFPS. This game is a mutliplayer third person shooter.

Planetside is a MMO 3rd/1st person shooter. Planetside, however under populated, still reigns as the only MMOFPS. There was a time when a single 'planet' or map would have 600 players on it at once. The maps were truly massive, and so were the numbers. Last I checked, 300 is their limit for a single planet, such is their limited budget I am sure. The game is an average shooter, it is pretty fun as small multiplayer matches go. But if you are seeking a real MMO, look else where as you will be greatly dissapointed by the false aspects of this game. To sum it up, if the game speaks of instances rather than large immersive worlds that you can roam, than do not be fooled by their use of the word MMOFPS. They are attempting to blend several games and genres into a single game which likely won't make a tasty concoction.

TF2 + MMO = Kick Ass!

This game plays like TF2 but matches mean something. It also has PVE so you don't have to kill people if you don't want to. Try it out!

Sweet!

The Xbox360 always seems more geared towards online play, but with this game having up to 256 players online in a single game that might change.
